Two Door Cinema Club

Two door cinema club are a trio from Bangor Ireland who are currently making waves. The band which is made up of Alex Trimble, Kevin Baird, and Sam Halliday make music for your feet, yes feet. The involvement of your ears is obviously compulsory but the ultimate outcome after a listen to two door cinema is DANCE. Or at least a bit of upper body movement. The boys originally met in 2007 and turned down university placements once they begun to see the interest they were generating on their myspace.

Fast forward to 2009 and the band are signed to hip Parisian record label kitsune, with whom they have already released two singles. ‘I can talk’ and ‘Something good can work’. Their debut album is set to be released on March the 1st titled ‘Tourist History’ and the first single from the album will be ‘Undercover Martyn’. Their catchy electro pop beats and melodic vocals definitely make them ones to watch for 2010.
