M.I.A. is on her publicity trail in preperation for her new album titled /\/\/\Y/\ which looks like a bunch of gobbldy goop to us but probably has a very deep political meaning (personally I think it's meant to look like MAYA). The album is due for release on July the 12th and she recently graced the cover of NME. On the site there is a pretty cool video interview with her regarding the sound of the album, 'schizophrenic' and the Conservatives, 'politics isn't politics anymore'.
